Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Global Head of Tax, manage the global Tax accounting processes. Analyze the regional tax schedules and packages. Liase with Corporate Finance to determine and reconcile key accounting differences and tax differences, including differences between accounting profit and taxable income, and difference between accounting balance sheet and taxation. Recognition of deferred tax assets/liabilities in the accounting balance sheet.
  • Manage the respective regional corporate tax compliance matters and incorporate control mechanism(s), where needed.
  • Provide technical support and strong liaison with Finance Department in all regions.
  • Responsible and manage for tax compliance with local, state, and country regulations. This includes researching laws and regulations regarding taxes withholding procedures in a cross country environment.
  • Review department systems to improve processes and procedures; eliminate non-value added activities.
  • Prepare the tax rate analysis in different country/region.
  • Create more efficiency in the tax reporting and ensure close liaison with Corporate Finance so that reconciliation of accounting/tax differences are taken care of.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Finance required.
  • Professional member: Certified Accountant required.
